The ARES from Maui Bikes is an electric fat bike that will allow you to explore new trails in the forest or on the road, winter or summer. The combination of its 500W Bafang motor and its Samsung battery offers you peace of mind during your rides. Enjoy exceptional comfort while riding the ARES thanks to the 100mm tires it is mounted on, its suspension fork and its hydraulic brakes that will ensure safe braking.

Powerful yet quiet, the Bafang motor delivers satisfying flow whether you’re climbing or descending. Its 500W assistance takes the sting out of any ascent and puts a smile on any rider’s face.

Our bikes offer a pedal assist system combine to a handlebar throttle. The torque emulating Pedal Assist Sensor (PAS) signals the controller to run the motor between 5 levels of pedal assist, providing a boost to your pedalling depending on the level of assist you select while riding. You can also use the on-demand throttle that gives you the power for an instant acceleration or uphill push regardless of pedalling to give you a fully electric ride in case you need some support.
